could someone lower the back of my car using photoshop. I'm looking for the car to sit level and get rid of the gap between the tire and fender.

thanks, Brian

Brian,

Hope this helps. In the first image, the back is just lowered. The second image, I lowered the front a little. I also did a little adjustment to make the image a little sharper. Good luck with your project.

just curious what size those wheels are

The wheels are TSW catalunya 18x8 with 20mm offset (5.287bs) with a 5/16 inch spacer and 18x9 with 20mm offset (5.75 bs). Tires are 235/40/18 fronts and 265/35/18 rears. I'm in the process of putting on longer wheel studs to accomodate the thicker mounting pad on the front whee.

right now it's stock ride height? or at least close to it? I have a 67 so i figure 68 shouldn't be too different and I have a little tire rub issues on one of the front tires with the fender inner wheel lip. Do you have any clearance issues in the front or back with the deeper back spacing?

The rear is stock height with a 4.5 standard eye leaf and 3/4 in. sway bar. On the front I have 620lb springs that lowered the front an inch with a 1 in. sway bar. All from Grab-a-Trak. There is no rubbing issue with the rear. Infact I could almost go with 6" bs and 9.5" wide wheel. The front clears the upper ball joint by about 1/8th of an inch. Some of the elanore knock offs are around a 4.75" bs. on the front. hope this helps

cool, thanks for the help. It looks like i have lots of space in the back for more bs but there isn't much in the front because of the ball joint as you say but one thing i want to get right on my car when i lower it, is to have the front wheels inside the fender. I'd like to try something like 4.75bs with 7inch wheels up front to make sure of this. and if 265s fit in the rear, then I'm goin for it. I want to do a very Trans Am look so I'm going to use 16s or 17s but i might be limiting myself on custom bs options (fairly limited TA "looking" options). Might not even be possible, i dunno. sorry for getting this thread off track. thanks.

with 16s or 17s I would definately try 4.75. The bs on my front wheels are at 4.97" with a 8in wheel and I had to go 18s with the bs so that the outer lip would clear the upper ball joint. My wheels do fit inside the fenders and the 7" w/4.75bs would definately stay in the fenders as well. If you need anything else you can pm me and I can pass on things as I figure them out.
