the driver side quarter was sticking out a little to far so it had to be cut and pushed in. Also the shaved door handle kit and indicator lights came in. dont worry about the gaps between the fender/door/quarter there just placed on for now

I was at my grandfathers yesterday and i figured i'd take a few pics of some burried treasure sitting in his cellar for you guys. Its my uncles 63 split window who lives across the country. its been sitting there for a while, he did a bunch of work to it and the motor back in the day. tail lights are from a catalina.

Got the seats "officially" mounted and put the door actuators in, a lot of people were saying how the cables eventually stretch out so we got some little blocks machined out and tapped so we could use a rod to pull the door so we wont have to worry about them stretching

One question though, Which door popper set (shaved handle kit, which ever you call it) Did you use for the Dart?
I've been pondering it and haven't heard of anyone using any specific brand aside from maybe Electric Life.

I got the kit from autoloc its in a lot of the magazines, they're cartoony lookin ads. The kit is awsome and works great. I got the 50lb. solenoids, they're more than enough to open the door without even using the little popper helpers. heres the link to it

well the first attempt at the center console with that grill cloth was a failure but got it right this time, just layed some fiber glass cloth down and put the hardner on it and let it sat over night, then stapled them to the sides of the console, not we got to cut the extra off add some layers, sand and paint

The Long Ram will bolt up to their respective cylinder heads. This manifold design was available on the B engine- 361 and the RB engine being the 413. Both versions would bolt up to your standard 361/383/400 B engines and the 413/426Wedge/440 RB engines.
Now the true MAX WEDGE engines had the heads with the larger port openings, among other differences ( 4 bolt Valve Covers ) ect....

If I'm wrong I stand corrected,Was it the standard cross ram, that had the tall ports for the Max Wedge heads. It was years ago {like twenty}that I had the mis fit issue on those parts.Just trying to give a freindly warning.Ron

Along with the taller ports they included a slightly larger valve dia. to take full advantage of the Cross Rams effective upper RPM band. The manifolds shown above are called Long Rams- not Cross Rams. You could use the Long Ram style on your standard Wedge Engine cylinder head- example- #-906 heads, 452 heads, even the Edelbrock Aluminum Wedge cylinder heads, ect.
The Long Ram engine package was more of a low rpm version, or for better description- street version.
I too have a set of these Long Rams and have toyed with making a simillar style set up to utilize 2 turbos and injection.
I hope this clears things up.

ya, guess you gotta work with what you got
my friend let me borrow his tires and rims just to see if they'd fit, it was a long shot but they actually fit dam good, its a 10" tire which i didnt even think was going to fit but they do, The offset is almost perfect, its gonna need to go out about a 1/4" more when i get the rimss just so it clears the leaf springs a little more.

dash is all done and wired, made the wiring pannel, tail lights wired, headlights wired, tan the battery cable froms the trunk, painted the front black that shows through from the grill and started cleaning under the front end.Under the dash is white because when working on it, it lightens it up a lot better than doing it all black.

Awesome build! :hail:
Love what you did with the dash. I'm going to be doing something similar with my 71 Dart except i'm not sure if I will make the cluster blend with the rest of the dash like yours or have it so I can pull the whole cluster out.
Have any tips on building a new cluster?

I would suggest flat facing it how i did mine, then you really can do what ever you want from there, one way is to just cut out the shape you want for your cluster after flattening it, then make your cluster and have it be able to bolt right into the dash

They do look very similar, but no. This is actually sherwin williams paint theres not a name for it but it came out of their "hot rod colors" booklet. We call it snake skin green:D , Nice cuda by the way!
