I assembled my shortened diff with everything on it down to the wheels and I trimmed down my old axles just for mock up purposes and all I have for clearance on the inside of the tire to wheel tub is 1/2" and 1.25" on the outside.Basically the overall length is 1/2" too short I think.
What can I do and what are my options????

I am trying to avoid using any spacers cause by the time I install my rotors then the spacers the hub is all used up and all that will centre my wheels will be the lugs.Does Moser sell axles with a flange 1/4" thicker and a flange that protrudes another 1/4" so my wheels have the hub back and my overall length will be perfect??

I don't think .25" spacers will be a problem...but longer studs would be a good idea.
Personally since you really need to move the wheel outboard nearly .75" I would rework the axle tubes and not do spacers.
Just adding a .25" spacer will make everything work (actually it should all work fine now) but looks wise the tire is too far under the car and a wider track width doesn't hurt either. Been there done that! Remember the main reason I ordered my Fikse's!? ;)

.25" spacers shouldn't pose a problem, just be sure that they're hubcentric.

If you had a axle made with a thinc flange it would throw off the axle to housing offset, then brakes would be a nightmare.
I will be a parrot, no problem with 1/4" spacer
