Well the weather has finally turned nice here in michigan....(mid 40s 50s) lol and ive gotten the chance to drive my car hard a little bit. and I have a rear varishock coilover that is leaking REALLY bad and has made a mess of under my car. Has anyone every experienced these coilovers leaking?
Thanks,
Paul
Its not uncommon for the seals to go bad (after time). But not on something as new as yours.
Not to insult you but are you 100% sure its from the shock and not blowby from maybe a leaky pan or something else?
Maybe take the shock off and test it.

Not the first Varishock leaker I have seen... a local buddy who is a dealer had several leakers out of one of his orders a while back, maybe about a year and a half ago... No problems with previous or subsequent orders.
I am keeping a close eye on mine though.

I heard they had a batch with incorrectly installed seals and all you have to do is call them and they will take care of it. I read this on another forum and don't know how true it is but it's not the first time I've read it.

I installed my double adjustables, just for mock up. One leaked out of the adjustment knob. I admit I had had them for a long time, but never driven on them. They refused me a new one, but said they would repair it. Sent it in, got it back, set it vertically in the corner of the kitchen, it still leaks, same place. Gave up. 350 dollar shock.

Well I can say it's defintely not a leaking oil pan or blow by because I saw it myself. It's on the rear too.::( Joe
