View Full Version : my 1966 pro touring mustang

well so far so good .. installed a mustang two ifs and a rear four bar and the mini tubs time to strip the interior and make the body operfectly straight

also totaly smothing the firewall and installing vintage air system the car will be powered by a 07 gt-500 engine with a tko-600

it has four wheel 13 inch willwood brakes with polished calipers as well as a panhard setup in the rear.

wheels are foos nitrous with gunmetal centers 20x10 and 20 x 12

first thing i did was lift the car and wire brush the entire underside to bare metal then paint the whole chasis in por-15 epoxie so no rust worries over time. then i flat blacked it all.

Welcome! Man I can't wait to get back to work on my 66! It's not going to be as nice as yours but I miss it. Drove mine for years as a daily driver.

i love your stance. i'm also building a 66 coupe although not as nice as yours.keep up the good work and keep us posted on your progress.

Looks good so far when you get that mod motor change or remove the egr on it ford uses a none vented one moisture builds up in it shorts out.The replacement one is vented.

there wont be any egr on it it will have a stand alone ecu system..

we specialize in efi fords here at my shop

I may switch over to a 06 viper engine and trany though as one became available to me at a sweet deal.
