Hey guys, I just received my header panel close-out from Undercover Innovations and it is a sweet piece. My question is if it is to much under my hood or does it make it look to busy? Do I need to try and paint it body color or leave it as is? Opinion's please.

Thanks

It looks fine.......but I would go DSE if I ever decide on a filller. I like the idea of covering up the radiator support.

Vegas69, I like the DSE version also. But I couldn't use my Twist Machine bars with it and I absolutely love them.

Looks good as is. I actually like that one better than the DSE version.

i like the panel but i think it needs to be painted the color of your rad support. so it dosent take your eye off of the engine. thats just my opinion bill

I don't think it looks too busy, but painting it might look better.

Black out the panel with satin black along with the core support, radiator and fender braces, this way the focus is on the engine as soon as the hood is opened................................

Scott I agree. It sticks out like a sore thumb right now. I am sure that is why the guys are saying to paint it.

Engine bay looks great without it. But if you keep it I would paint it to match. Another thing you might want to consider it painting the top of your Optima red top black so it does not stand out under the hood.

Thanks alot guys for the comments, I really appreciate them. I have decided to take it off. To me it takes away from the engine bay and that's not what I want. I really don't even think I would like it body color either. So if anyone needs a close out panel I have one. :D

Plus the wife wasn't to thrilled with the way it looked. So if she isn't happy then ultimately I'm not.

Nice panel. I think it looks good, but may detract a little in natural form. I'm sure someone else will buy it from you. I plan on going with the DSE.
