I'm planning on getting a fitted car cover... Is there any certain brand to look for or avoid?

I've had both the Cal Car Cover and Coverkraft...they both fit really well!

Another vote for either California Car Cover or Covercraft. I've had several from both companies and they all fit very well.

As far as what material to buy... depends on where you intend to use it. They have indoor only materials, indoor/outdoor materials, and a couple of fabrics specifically intended for constant outdoor UV exposure. Some are thicker than others to give some ding protection, others are very thin for easy daily use & trunk storage.

I use a Weathershield car cover from Covercraft on my daily driver out here in the California sun nearly every day-- unless it's raining or the forecast shows that the winds are going to get above 20mph, I dust the car off and then put my cover on when I get to work and take it off when I go home. The cover is still holding up great after almost 3 years of exposure to harsh sun and summers in the 100+ degree range. It has also been very gentle on the paint-- there are no marks that I can attribute to the cover.

I recently purchased a top of the line indoor cover from California Car cover and I am very happy with it.

I got mine from California Car Cover. Only problem with it is that it doesn't hold up well to the neighborhood cats. I need a new one now. The weather isn't really an issue.

Cool, good info. For those with California Car Covers, which model did you go with? They have A LOT of options - which is really nice.

I would recommend you get a cover that you can get some use from it indoors and outdoors. I have used Cal. covers and also Cover craft covers. We went with a Cover Craft Evolution Techalon cover for Paul's Chev II.It's plently soft yet has flexability to be used outdoors. Joe :)

I have California Car Cover for both my cars. I chose the Noah version because it's indoor/outdoor and priced fairly. The Chevelle's cover is two years old, the Camaro's over 6 years. Both have held up well over the years and work well both inside the garage and out.

I think? I went with super weave http://www.calcarcover.com/how_to_select.aspx#superweave

Almost 99% indoor use for my self but if needed I wanted it to fully work outdoors, car shows and such.
