Although not PT, it is one of several customer cars taking up more and more of my time. I wished it was a frame off, but this started as a basic repaint, which required replacement of both quarters, trunk, driver door, and passenger fender. Still need to buff this weekend and then assembly begins.
Nice, Mike. Is it going to be all original, or will there be some minor upgrades?

It has a 350/350 combo, AR wheels, some chrome under the hood, but that is about it. It is almost a daily driver for him considering he has about 4 other Hot Rods and routinely drives them all to work.

Wow, all that and no frame off? It's like right there... like RIGHT there. It's like the chevelle I bought. It was maybe 3 more days of work away from being a frame off and the guy didn't do it, meanwhile everything else was stripped off the frame and redone with new parts. I'm guessing then you'll be painting the frame semi gloss black?
Red paint looks awesome

Red paint looks awesome :thumbsup:I know and it is killing me not to pull it. Problem is this car is already $10K over budget with all the metal that had to be replaced. If I pull the frame were talking at least another 3 grand in costs and jus doesn't have it to spend. I am rebuilding the front suspension and everything you can see will be painted semi-black to match the firewall.

Well the owner stopped by this evening, saw the paint job, and before he left decided we could not leave the frame alone. Guess what i get to do this weekend?

LOL! Everyone should know that when you jump in you might as well go head first. It is much quicker and less painfull for your wallet:rofl: . Great job on the paint though. I have always loved the tri-fives. Keep up the great work and keep that camera close!!

good job, I was going to say...gotta do the frame. I just hope all the hardware comes out without floor pan connected to it.
