View Full Version : Another New Guy From Minnesota...
Got to meet Scott in person at the Car Craft Summer Nationals this past weekend. I had heard of Lateral-G.net but I guess I never realized he was the owner. Being a fellow Minnesotan, I would have joined sooner had I known. And I'm sure this site could use another red headed stepchild (a.k.a. El Camino) owner. Right Clint? :)

Back on subject, here's a few pictures that I took of Keith's kick ass Camino. It was definitely one of my favorite cars at the Car Craft Summer Nats.

Nice car Keith! Looks great with those ZR-1's on there too.
Can you give me the specs on your Wilwood break system? It looks great. I am going to upgrade from the drum breaks to a nice setup and I am leaning toward Baer but yours look great.

 Well, in that case, will you be home in about 2 hours? :willy:
I'll go for the ride. If you get me in the driver's seat, you may never get me out :unibrow: :hail:

I put the 93-97 F-Body big brake kit on the front which required fabricating my own caliper brackets. 13" drilled & slotted rotors, 6 piston billet aluminum superlite calipers, PolyMatrix "E" compound pads, aluminum rotor hats, stainless braided brake lines. The rear is the Chevy 12-bolt kit. 12" drilled & slotted rotors, 4 piston Dynalite calipers, cast iron rotor hats, and integral parking brakes. Proportioning valve. The master cylinder is Wilwood's new aluminum tandem chamber with a 1.12" bore. And finally, to give it plenty of muscle, a Hydroboost system from Hydratech Braking Systems.

Very well done. Better than Dennis too. How do you like those brakes? I've been tempted to do something similar.

LOL!
Weclome Aboard!
Scott!
Isn't that the truth, Scott! LOL Minnesota is definitely Pro-Street territory.
How do you like those brakes? I love them. I have to admit though, they haven't been track tested yet. I'm still working on the logistics of that.
