I am doing a C5 IRS and would need the rear suspension specs or mounting points for the upper and lower control arms. I've done a search and came up with nothing. Any help wll be much appreciated.
BTW, As this looks to be some what of popular rear suspension mod maybe it would be nice to include the specs in a sticky note. Just a thought....
Thanks,
Dave

Basically you just start with the suspension arms and mock them up at your spindle center. When the arms are in their neutral position, meaning the balljoint is square, you have your basic ride height. We usually lengthen the uppers arm to lengthen them a tick and usually have to move the balljoint angle to get the rear suspension to droop enough to get the wheel off the back of a low car with corvette suspension.

Rodger,
Thanks for the reply. I assumed to set the spindle/hub at 0 camber at ride height & the toe at 0 also. What is the caster? My biggest concerns were the upper and lower control arm mounting points. It appears the lower contol arms mounts to the frame are level and the uppers are at an angle. Am I wrong? If the uppers are indeed at an angle, what degree are they.
Thanks again,
Dave
