Anyone add C5 brakes to the rear of a 67 Camaro and have a problem with the stock axles fitting? If so what was the solution?
Thanks in advance.

Rotor won't fit over the axle snout?

no the rotor fit fine the problem is that his has the kore-3 parking brake kit and it seem that they added so width so when the axles go it you can barley get the c-clips on , and the flange is in contact with the parking brake cylinder and the shoe.

If I remember correctely there is a difference between rotors for C5 and LS1 Camaros, otherwise those rearbrakes are pretty much the same. The C5 rotor is "shorter" than the LS1. You would also need a spacer between the housingflange and the backingplate for the rearbrakes.
For the best fit you need the LS1 rotors.
In the brake section of Pro-Touring.com there is a bunch of info on how to fit these rearbrakes. Do a search and you will find.

Aj did a better job of explaining the problem than I did. I'll check out the por-touring thread and see what they have. It's one of those things that's so close but just not enough.
Chris thanks for the offer. You need to move here sooner than later so I can just jump in the truck and run over to your house!

My suggestion is to first take a close look at your set up. See if there might be something that could bolted together after the c-clip to help istallation.
Then I'd call Kore and see if they might have run into this problem. Are these axles stock length?

I'd just follow the instructions and turn the axles to be "less than 6 inches"...LOL, I know I'm a spart ass!! :unibrow:
