Does anybody know where to find more information or pictures of this car?

http://www.tdulgerian.com/nova.jpg

It is from the Detroit Speed catalog....

Thanks

I'm no expert, but that picture looks photoshopped.

Now that you say that..... it does look a little photoshopped.
So that means there probably isn't more info or pictures then.

It is NO photoshop. The owner is a member over on pro-touring.com. There was a mag feature on it a few years back by either HotRod or PHR

Never saw the sun shine in so many directions.... Wow look mom, no shadows !
And whats that fuzzy stuff under the bumper (pavement) and why cant i get a photo of my treads under the car to look so clear like that?
Come on.... its either a full on photoshop or was severly cleaned up with photoshop ! Perhaps someone elses tire was used to see what it would look like.
Why not try calling DSE and ask.

The car could have been cut out of its original background and placed on the asphalt. Do you know what the members name is on Pro-Touring?

100% Photoshop, I can see where the clone tool was used to blur the area under the bumper. Got'yer back Steve!

Thanks Ben... I gotta learn to use that... I can start using that "blur" command to make myself portaits a little better ! :D

street3285: That car looks great. Very nice rear tire size..... I havent touched a 2nd Gen Nova but by the looks of the trunk, I'd say its NOT mini-tubbed. Perhaps a leaf relocater kit and a nice offset. Maybe someone will jump in and verify that for sure.

Duh... I just read the article... definitly has mini-tubs.
Shows you that I know nothing....
I'll try again.... maybe MINI TUBBED with a leaf relocater kit and a nice offset ?????

I'm Jeff Peters and that is my car. I built the car and then did the minitub on it afterwards. Kind of backwards to most. Hotrod did do a feature on it. Kyle is a freind of mine and ask if he could use it in his catalog. Anything for those guys.

I actually took those photos in a parking lot about a mile from my house. The tire tread was clean and I didn't do anything to them photoshop wise. I'm not savy enough to do anything like that with a computer.

The wheel combo is a 315/35/17 on an 11" wide wheel.

Oh, and thanks for the comment, ( I havent touched a 2nd Gen Nova but by the looks of the trunk, I'd say its NOT mini-tubbed[

I have had lots of people that didn't think it had been minitubbed after they looked in the trunk. That was my whole intention, to make it look factory. I have done several that way.

jpdeuce....Thanks for posting up and proving I'm not crazy, lol. I love how everyone on here was convinced it was a photoshop and a fake car and you proved them all wrong, hahaha.

On a side note do you have any recent pics of your car, if so please post them up always loved the car.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I haven't done anything to the Nova in a while now. I have been too busy with customer cars. Still have a few on the list to boot.

Dwayne's car will be finished in time for the Spring Grand Rod Run in P.F. I just finished the exhaust and about have the bottom side buttoned up. A few more cosmetics under the hood and then it'll be time to fire it up for a shakedown. I think he's gonna be very happy with it! Its turned out awsome!
