WOW! That is horrible, but seems like everyone was okay. I would think that what hurt the most was when the guy gets out of his cars, cleans himself off, see he is okay...then turns around and looks at his classic!!!! I bet they needed to lay down after that!

One of the guys involved hosted the Power Tour kickoff party I was at. Super nice guy with an awesome car collection. He let us keep the Chevelle there until the PT started. He was fine but the car is a mess. His was a Trans Am that was involved.

That makes me sick these are vintage race cars so the cobras and jags are real no replicas are allowed! If that was my mid year vette or the 68 camaro I would shoot myself. Luckily no one was hurt.

I think I would be ready to fight after that one! My goal when I am old and rich would be to build a 68 trans am camaro...and if it ended up like that black one, I would be crushed!

If you read the other forum...that black 68 had just won an award the night before for like a great restoration...that makes it worse for me to look at those pics, I feel for that guy.

I'd be sick as well. I honestly don't know if I have the balls to spend the time and effort to build a car of that caliber to possibly wreck it racing like that. But this is a possibility with road racing.

I'd be bummed too. Who was it that said "If you want to play, you have to pay"? In this case, the payment was big.

Give it a little more time, Steve. I think it took them a couple of days to approve me.
