I'm in the middle of building my trans and the guys asked me which shift kit to go with? I think it was a Trans N Go, but not sure. I will be using the Auto Paddle Shifter. Steve where are you?

trans go makes very nice shift kits, the nice thing about electronic trannys is you can make a bone stock one feel very very firm with out a shift kit. I would be more concerned with clutch material, etc in the tranny then a shift kit. however I am sure steve will elaborate further on this.

Steve is going to take care of the converter when I'm ready, so I know I'm good there. I guess I can always put the shift kit in later.

I'm on vacation w/o good wireless. Yeah, do the TransGo shift kit. Better to start out on the firm side and then soften it up in the software.

You are refering to torque managment. You can take torque managment out and it gives you the same feeling. what torque managment does is for 10th of a second it cuts timing to damn near nothing while shifting then puts it back in once the shift is complete. My jag churps 2 and 3rd all day long 1/4 and half throttle. On a 4l60e I would recommend colene blue steel clutches and a good yank converter also do a good shift kit. Should make for a hell of a trans
P.S. I EAT 03 COBRAS with the JAG.
