Well I was decided on a set of Torq Thrust II's (Cl205's) for my Nova until I ran across the Billet Specialties Apex G in a grey spoke finish this morning. Now I am completely torn between the two. So at this point I really need some opinions on the two. Let me know what you guys think between the two and which will give a more old school vintage look on my Nova. On a side note the rim specs will be a 17 X 8" Front; 17x9.5" Rear and the car will be running 2" DSE rear drop leafs as well as DSE 2" drop coils up front...

I think the Apex G would be a great choice and not as common as the TTII.

Can you get the Apex with a standard lip...that would help give it a vintage feel.

As overwhelmingly popular as the TTIIs are, I still think they'd look better on your Nova than the Apex Gs. Of course, it's your car and your style so do what makes you happy!

I've been looking at these wheels alot lately. They looked good when they debuted at SEMA this last year. They are only available in 17's right now, but I hear from BS that 18's are only about a month away, if that. We just ordered a set for another customer in 17's for a 57 chevy.

Let us know if you need a supporting Lat-g vendor to get these for you.

Jon,
Happen to have any actual pics of these? I can't seem to find any on the web. Would love to see some installed pics as well, I guess these are still just to new tho. Do you happen to know the available widths? I saw on BS's website where they don't offer a 9" or 9.5" width only a 10"

As much as I love the look of the CL205,the quality just isn't there with American Racing wheels anymore. My vote is with #2...

I might have a photo somewhere from SEMA. I'll take a look, but yes, they are VERY new. Once we get an order in, we'll shoot it again.

In 17" that is very common, because there is no 9" outer hoop available. Only 8's and 10's in soft lip, and 9.5's in standard lip.

Thanks for the info Jon. So do they actually offer this rim w/ a standard lip design then? That is actually what I prefer anyway and would help the price a bit as well.
