I know this has been discussed several times. I did a search and read a lot of good information on the subject. However I've been cautioned that doing so changes the look of the fender well. I'm seriously considering rolling the rear fenders on my 67. Trying to fit a 285/18/10 in the well and avoid rubbing issues. Hoping someone has pictures of before and after that show the changes in appearance.

Also if you've done this and had any problems...what was it and how to avoid it.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I used one of those on my 69 camaro.that thing works really good.I was able to roll the lip completely flat to the fender without any damage to the quarter.just go a little bit at a time.

Cutris the only visual change will be that you will no longer have a lip in the area that you roll...the shape of the opening is unchanged.

I don't think it changes the look at all.

It's more work, but an alternative is to weld 3/16 ss brake line into the corner of the flange, then cut off the excess portion of the flange, leaving the nice rounded tube in place for a pleasing and strong fender/quarter.

good idea john, thats just what i do, but i use mild steel solid bar stock, works so nice and is really easy to finish off.

Let me barrow that limitless credit card of yours and I'll get mini tubs and wider rear wheels.
Did I mention that my b-day is right around the corner? LOL

I used a fender roller, it was easy, but take a razorblade and score the paint so that it doesnt crack, then take touch up paint and seal the cut edge.

If I ever get mine back together, we can roll mine. Then to the Camino.
