What kind of bushings you have used with custom made A-arms? When building from scratch it give allmost unlimited choise of components. How about Global west or DSEs bushings ?

I have solids but you probably want something w/ a little more comfort, how about the del a lum bushings? I just milled a section to press the bushigns in, these sections are the bushing ends of my custom lower arms. I'd just buy the bushing of choice and then miull to spec so that it's an accurate fit.

Here's what I have

$10.00 for the bushings, sleeve and 2" x 2.75 x 1/4 wall D.O.M. tubing.
These are about as cheap as you will spend for a poly bushing end. Great quality also. I'll be using them with the bushings and sleeves modified for a 5/8th inch bolt instead of a 9/16th's.
I had thought about using another set for the uppers but I am going to end up making them I think. I would have to narrow them up a bit to fit the "G" body cross shaft and the shaft is 5/8th's of an inch where it goes through the bushing so the inner sleeves wouldn't work either. I will be getting some 2" O.D. x 3/8th wall D.O.M and turning the I.D. to press in a stock type shell bushing. This will give me a number of bushing options from stock rubber to poly/graphite and I think this will help in tuning...

Thankyou Astroracer!! Those are about 10 cheaper than del-a-lums... And after drilling and tapping grease fitting i believe they will work well on street.

Good tip!

on a slight hijack...

I am looking at these bushing for a 4 link for my rear and would like to use a 3.4" turnbuckle rod for them. I can find 3/4" RH studs (suicidesdoors.com) but no leftys!! am I stuck having to turn them out myself? my other option is that since it is a daily driver street car that maybe I would want one end welded so that if the jam nuts come loose my link won't change length on me?

I was planning on some sweged tubes from most likely speedway motors or such.

you can get these in LH or RH 3/4"... but only accept a 5/8 bolt.

Where did you source the delrin sleeves?
