I recently purchased a new car, a 66 chevelle, and have been slowly upgrading it to where I would prefer it to be. The wheels and tires went on last week. 19x8 front, and 20x10 rear. Front tires are 245/35/19, and rears are a 285/30/20 in Sumitomo HTRZIII's. Stock wheel tubs in the rear.
Here are some photos:

Wheels are Rushforth "Super Spokes" with a brushed and cleared center, and polished outer. I think they match the car perfecty. The front suspension is all Global West, rear is tubular arms and lowering springs. I plan on upgrading to Vari-shocks, and lowering the front another inch.

Wow - those wheels look great!
Just curious at this point, but what would that wheel combo cost - PM me if you get a chance. Like I said, just curiosity at this point, but maybe some day if I save my pocket change!:) .

PM's sent out.
Thank you for the compliments everyone. More work to do to this car before it's more where I would prefer it to be, but she'll get there... slowly but surely. :lateral: Thanks again.

Looks awesome. The wheels are a good match for the car - I'm sure your happy (how many trips to the garage just to look yet another time?). Please post some more pictures of the rest of the car - fininished or unfinished ... also It would be neat to see some before pictures. Hey have you posted this on team chevelle? You can stir up a lot of debate with the traditionalists especially on wheels.

I just posted them up over at Team Chevelle in a thread calling out 66/67's with big wheels. Ton's of 17" torq thrusts were posted. I'm sure my combo will stir it up a bit.
Thank you for the compliments. I have gotten some complaints that I don't take enough photos from a backed up side view. I'll do so tonite and add to this post. Thanks again guys.

Thanks Tony. I love the color, and Jason Rushforth is working on some graphics to compliment it nicely.
Best thing about it, is color matching isn't going to be a problem for touch-ups, etc. Got to love nice, factory colors.

Those are sweet.. very nice!
Wheels and stance are everything but just wait until you guys see the subtle changes we're making to the paint without a total repaint. The old owner is going to want it back bad!
Just goes to show what a quick little facelift can do for a car!

And here they are... far back enough for you? Car looks so much more generic at this angle... LOL. :lateral:
Took a few more of the interior too. Back seat and rear panels are next weeks project.

nailed the stance perfectly...
Here's the rendering for Jon's final look. Just goes to show you what wheels, stance and a simple splash of style can do for an otherwise normal car.

On a lighter note, here's a photo of a recent set of Super Spokes we did for a local 57 chevy in 19" and 20". He optioned for no rivets for a smooth look.
Wheel looks nice this way too....

Are your centers powdercoated clear, if so what are the benefits, are they easier to clean or just give the wheel a wetter look?

The wheels on my chevelle are brushed and powder coated clear. The clear locks in the brushing, so I never have to worry about the wheels getting scratched out of grain, and cleaning is VERY easy with soap and water. Class cleaner and micro fiber cloth between washing.
