Hey Tim I got your email, and yes this car is based on a Winston cup car of the eighty's . I had the blessing of being a fabricator in that arena for twenty years, and spent over 200 hrs. in the GM windtunnel, and Martin Marrieta tunnel. This car has been taken past what we were allowed to do in 1987/88 the top has been chopped 2 in, the nose has been moved 2in forward, the windshield angled or layed back 5 degrees, rockers moved out and tapored 2 in from front to rear, cowl hood, all aluminum deck with a 6in 35 degree spoiler, but it is a door slammer driver. You asked our goal, go fast, look good, we are doing a magazine build ,that will include alot of track testing, including a possible land speed test for grins I cant wait. We have posted over 200 pictures on smokinss site. Mark
