View Full Version : 2" or 3" rear drop leafs?
Is there really any difference in the two. Pro's and Con's? If anyone has pictures of there 67 camaro with 2" or 3" rear drop leafs please share. I will be doing one or the other just wanting to know any set backs. Does it affect the ride quality? Thanks again.

Heres mine with dse 3 inch drop leafs and I wish it was 4. 17" wheels. No issue with ride quality, just avoid big bumps. Go 3" if you must use leafs. My issue with it is the rear ride height is not adjustable- next time 4 link.

I bought the 2"...will be dearching the springs or something to lower it more. Start with the 3" ones.

If 3" isnt enough with leafs is it big no-no to shim it down a little with lowering blocks ? Like 1/2 - 1 " ??

Thanks Guys
Exhaust clearance starts getting a little tight underneath and I didnt want to push it, so I decided to forego the lowering blocks. Theres also a fine line between having the car slammed to the ground and ripping out your headers or somethong else if you drive it and hit a raised man hole cover or bump. Good luck

Send SteveO a PM. He gave me a really good run down on all this and I know he would do the same for you.
