Since the 68 Camaro is in for stitches I've been getting some work done on
"BONER". It's a 56 2dr. on a full AME chassis, 582CI. 745HP. carb. motor.5sp.
trans. Hyd. clutch 9in. Strange diff. 370 gear. Body Mods. will be Subtle on
this project. So far I've--Smoothed and recessed firewall, Raised Trans. tunnel. Extended rockers for a slight channeled affect. Rearranged some
metal on underbody for closer fit to frame. 16in. wide rear tubs. smoothed driprails. Car belongs to Morris Hambly AKA "Slick".He owns a Boneyard so the
cars name is Slick's "BONER". I thought you could use some ShoeBox Cars on
Here. "10637

Thanks for the thumbs up Guys, Rides in The Boner will be good for Phcyco-
theropy. I only get to work on it Fridays ,so it will take some time, but all the
prefab and kit parts will speed things along. Here's a couple more pics.10648

10653The guy that owns the car is known as "Slick". He owns a junk yard,"boneyard", I started calling it "Boneyard BelAire". When the
Scott Shafiroff Built Big Blok showed up , in my excitement I decided
to just call it "BONER". It's not written in stone, but catchy, Huh?

There was a small rust spot around the right rear body to frame mount. I started to loosen the Rotisserie bracket at that mount . I stopped, thinking
it could kick out if only supported at 3 points. I wrapped a chain around the
post and cross arm. I loosened mount bolt some more. It didn't feel right so
I went and got a jack and 4x4 block to put under roof drip rail to stop kickout
taking up slack in the chain.I was jacking the block and guiding it with my
thumb on top of the block, and within an inch of being supported when the
body did what I was trying to prevent it from doing. BOOM, right on the end
of thumb. The nail was on the floor and the end flew out the door somewhere
before I could say YEOW.
