Hi All,
I have finally come to the realization that I need to sale my 68 camaro that I have had for almost 19 years. This second restoration which turned into a pro-touring project started when I lived over in Oklahoma back in 2005. The car is currently sitting with paint and body work complete, engine, transmission, and drive line in place, and all of the parts to finish the project. I currently live in Johnson City, TN, but I have the car stored in my Dad's shop in Cabot, AR which is about 30 minutes North of Little Rock. My Dad just retired and was going to work some on the car to help me finish it.

Now for the details: The car was originally a 68 RallySport but I decided to go with a standard grill and rear valance. The car also originally had a vinyl top but I decided to remove it as well. The car is currently wearing 2006 Dodge Viper Red with Black Rally Stripes and smoothed of all badging. The body work, fit-n-finish, and gaps are perfect. The car has the original 327 block which has been warmed over a little. The car originally was an auto 2-speed, then a 3-speed, but now has a Tremec 5-speed. Rearend is an Coleman Racing Ultralite 9" with a Trac Loc Posi and 3.70 gears. The car has been lowered a coil and a half in the front (also have an unused set of Detroit Speed 2" drop springs) and 3" in the rear with Detroit Speed lowered leaf springs, Koni Shocks, and mini tub kit including narrowed stainless steel fuel tank. Detroit Speed Subframe Connectors have been welded in and Detroit Speed Subframe Bushing kit as well. Front end is Detroit Speed (Stage 1 Kit I believe) with Tubular Upper A-Arms, drop spings, Koni Shocks, Lower A-Arm bushings, and Sway Bar. 17x11 Billet Specialties billet rallys with 6" of backspacing wrapped in Sumitomo 315/35,17s and 17x8 Billet Specialties billet rallys with 4 7/8" backspacing wapped in Sumitomo 245/45/17s (also have a mixed set of 15x7s and 15x8s steel rallys with center caps, trim rings and mounted on BF Gs that come with car), Single Piston Disk Brakes front and rear.

Now the rest of the parts: There is a lot to list here. Vintage Air Heating and Air System, Flow Tech Ceremaic Coated Headers, Flow Master 2.5" complete exhaust system with super 40s, Aluminum Raditor with custom built shroud and twin 12" electric fans, Complete MSD Igintion System (coil, 6AL box, and spark plug wires) Complete GM serpentine belt drive, updated projector beam headlights, 69 camaro park lights "frenched" into 68 camaro lower valance, and the list goes on and on. I have pictures and receipts for all of the parts that I have purchased.

I am looking for serious inquiries only. This car represents a good portion of my life seeing that I have had it since I was 14 and would like to see it go to somebody that will enjoy it as much as I have.

I am asking $30K for the car and all of the parts lock, stock and barrel. I know that it is difficult to expect that kind of money from an unfinished car, however, the paint and bodywork alone is exceptional. to let ya'll know that I am not crazy the price is negotiable and I will give all offers consideration.

I have attached a few pics but if you would like more or want specific shots taken please don't hesitate to ask.

You can contact me at [email protected], (423) 741-6466 Cell, or (423) 282-6679 Home (not after 9pm).

I absolutely Hate to sell this car, but I absolutely Need to sell this car.

I do have the complete interior for the car including floor console as well, which all of it is in great condition. Besides having the original front seats, I have a brand new set of Pro Car Scat Rally Seats and Three Point Shoulder Seat Belts for the front.

Has this car been listed before? It looks familiar for some reason. Just curious. Good luck with the sale.

Jay are you looking to buy a house or something, or just tired of the project? It looks like it wouldn't take too long to get her put together and you are lucky your dad can help. With all the money invested I would finish it and get more out of it...if you still want to sell it at that point.

Yea from what I gather it sold yesterday to a guy a mile down the road...lol He didnt even know it existed, had never even heard of it. I told him about it, he registered on here yesterday to be able to look at the ad, they looked at it last night, and are going to retrieve it tomorrow. (weather permitting) From what I was told killer car and great deal.
