I've been cleaning up the shop throwing a bunch of junk out. I got boarded so I decided to build a chassis. The front end is from a 84 Suburban I had the steel is left over from jobs long gone.

I aways wanted to try this the truck will be so low with straight suspension I decide to wack 2 inches out of the center crossmember

A friend of mine works at one of the NASCAR teams he said that he would make me a center link. All I have to do is cut the old one to lenght so he can measure it up.

Race-Rodz asked me if this was the Corn Binder? Sad to say it's not I have to save up some money to get my wheels I really like those Boze Forged Pro-Tournig wheels. So i'll do this one real quick because I have the parts this project is all spare parts and left over steel.

Looking forward to see how this one ends up.
Wish you got the chance to finish the road racing mustang. It was(and hope it will remain) an informative/ entertaining show.

I thought that the engine might sit alittle to high so I made the crossmember thinner.

So what are the plans for the body? What year are you going with? I like your adjustment hole set up on the frame jig looks like a style I may have to copy for one I am starting to build. Any other shots of the table it self?

Most of the heavy work is done. I'll hang the body and nose so I can make the core support.

Nice work. Are you using a turbo 350 or 400 with the gear vendors? Why did you pick the Gear Vendors?

Well I started putting the body on the frame. I know what most of you guys are thinking what the hell is taking so long. It is a real pain in the ass to get your own show and web site built way more than I ever thought it would be. Any way the body is in place and it looks crazy!

That engine set back isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I didn’t have to cut out the whole firewall.

I’ll put the bed on when I get it off of the table. It will be a lot easier.
