It looks similar to the Jesse James box, both are made in Taiwan.

The Jesse James boxes were made in the US at a factory here in Ohio.

And we wonder why our economy is failing. Let's spend 80 billion on a war and have a foose tool box made in taiwan. Ya that 500 dollar tax inentive is going to save the economy.:D Rant over.

I agree with the above statements. Having done some work in the MAC factory where the JJames boxes were made, I asked about how well they where selling. The plant manager told me that they sold extremely well. This was in the right at the peak of his fame however. Kind of interesting Chip doesn't mind that they were made in Taiwan.....

Looking at the boxes and tools I was guessing it was going to be pretty spendy....only $700 bucks seems like a good deal. Quality boxes cost that.

Joe440 did that bike 'FEEL' as huge as it looks?

ya that picture actually makes it look smaller than what it is. Chip was telling us the first time he test drove it he couldnt even turn it around on his street because the turning radius was so bad.

I need another tool box for the shop. These look pretty good! Though I'd probaby worry about using the tools! Does MAC have a replacement policy if...er...when something gets broken?

I'm a big Foose fan. Met him at SEMA couple years back, talked to him for a few minutes. He later drew up a shirt for me and sent it. I'll try to get a pic for you guys!

I'd love it if it said "H8 TYOTA" or "H8 HONDA".

It's us (Ford, GM, Chrysler) versus them (Toyota, Honda, Mazda) now.

The Big 3 are in this fight together against a new enemy. I won't hate on any Ford or Chrysler ever again. :patriot:

The author of the article had to revise it because he got slammed for touting the quality of the tools. The tools are all from Tawain and so is the box.
The tools do not say made in the USA nor will MAC stand behind them.

$700 for a box with tools?............Two sets of wrenches and screwdriver set from MAC will costs you every bit of $700.

If I was Foose I would demand those tools be MAC... who cares if the box costs $6k
I bought a Dale Earnhart Snap-on box in 1990, it costs me $5k, I don't know what it's worth now but I will never sell it.

3 was a class act.

I'm gonna need a new roadster idea. I thought one with a BMW V12 and exhausts out the side would be unique. Guess great minds just think alike :D
