I had the chance to get some weight data together on our Schwartz Camaro Full Chassis for 1st generation F Body.
I'd also like to mention the side port for exhaust is an option, we can do the chassis without that.
Weight assembled with 20x12.5 and 19x9 forgelines, michelin pilot PS2, 335/30x20 and 255/35x19 14" front and 13" rear non drilled rotors, 6 piston fr and 4 piston rr wilwoods, a complete winters 9" with iron Moser 3rd member, axles, power rack etc. is 827#.
Without rear end, wheels, tires, but with the 14" dia non drilled six piston front brakes still on it 334#.
Without brakes, Full frame, includes power rack, spindles, coilover shocks, springs, all nuts, bolts, solid front and rear sway bars, steel braided brake lines, and steel hard lines, all fittings, fully powdercoated. 276#
Measured with calibrated Intercomp digital scales.
A stock subframe with sway bar is about 350#

Jeff:

Can you post some additional pictures of your chassis with the side port exhaust and without it?

Also, do you have some pictures with the frame mounted with a body on it?

What is the ride height when finished?

Do you have any performance stats with a complete car?

Do you, "Set the Car Up", once the chassis is installed? (For Best Handling)

What rear end suspensions can you set up with your chassis?

Are your Chassis usually shipped or dod you do the install on them?

Thanks,

Ty O'Neal

Jeff:

Dont have pics of any without it. Just imagine the smaller tube going forward a bit more.
Also, do you have some pictures with the frame mounted with a body on it?
Yes

What is the ride height when finished?
It's adjustable, depends where you have it adjusted

Do you have any performance stats with a complete car?
Yes but it's meaningless without either before and after data, or comparison against another product on the same day at the same venue, which you'll see in 2008. I'm also now working on videos of flex of a subframe equipped car vs ours.

Do you, "Set the Car Up", once the chassis is installed? (For Best Handling)
Yes, if we build the car, or it's sent to us for that.

What rear end suspensions can you set up with your chassis?
Our spherical rod end, triangulated 4 bar with splined end link sway bar.
Coil over shocks or Air Ride shockwaves.
Are your Chassis usually shipped or dod you do the install on them?
Both ways and up to complete project

Thanks,

Ty O'Neal
