I bought this car (68 camaro) about 7 months ago and immediately starting tearing it apart. The shell has been at Mickey's Chassis Works getting the 4 link built w/ qa1 coilovers, new rear frame rails built, new rear sheetmetal, sfc, and rearend narrowed. It also spent a couple days getting blasted and primered. But in the meantime I spent a few dollars buying my Budnik M5s, Moser rearend guts and axles, Wilwood brakes (Thanks Frank), DSE speed kit 1 (Thanks Frank). My next few steps with the car is to get the subframe out and powdercoated, brakes and front suspension installed, and coat the undercarriage. Well I thought I should share some pics, since I have been looking at other's pics everyday for past year. These are a few progress pics, compliments and constructive criticism are welcome!!
Here are some pics that the guy sent me when I was interested in buying it.

Some pics after getting it blasted and primered. The shell was overall very solid, there are some minor pin hole issues with the window channel.

Thanks, I really like the fuel cell also. I didn't want it hanging down at all so this worked out great. I am going to mount the battery either right behind the backseat on the "shelf" under the rear speakers or to the right of the cell just to the inside of the right quarter panel.

No, but the car was for sale there a couple times I believe. I'm pretty sure that is were the pics were taken. Are you from Oklahoma? If so what city?

grew up in Edmond and Perry. I am in Fayetteville for school, but hope to be back to Oklahoma in the future. Great place
I thought those building in the background looked like Chickasha. that is a good swap meet

Nice fab work, I too like the cell's placement. How are you holding it up there? With straps or did you make a frame for it? Got any pics?

If you look at the two circles on the picture you can see two studs, there are 2 more right behind the camera also. The factory mounting tabs on the fuel cell are used as hangers and the studs are fed through them and then a nut is put on all four.
