The 2008 New England Rally spring run will take place on Saturday May 3rd.
We will gather at 9:00 AM at Quonochontaug Beach in Quonochontaug Rhode Island.
From there we will depart at 11:00 am sharp and travel 197 miles of the King's Highway (Rt. 1) to Old Orchard Beach Maine for dinner at The Oceanside Grille.
The cost to you for joining us on the Spring run is nothing. You will pay for your own food and gas. If you would like to spend the evening in Old Orchard Beach there are dozens of hotels in the area or you can head home after dinner.
It's a nice long cruising road with lots of turns and plenty of scenery.
If you are interested in coming with us on the Spring ride post your name in the the 2008 Spring Run Participants thread in the 2008 New England Rally section of the forum.
We are looking at about 200 miles and 6 hours of drive time. We will take a break for lunch at about the half way point. We will also stop at a few scenic locations for breaks.
I look forward to seeing you all on the road!

Join us the first weekend in August of 2008 for the 3rd annual New England Rally!
50 teams of cars and motorcycles will travel nearly 1500 miles through the 6 states of scenic New England.
As a poker style rally the teams draw a card at each checkpoint with hopes of forming the best poker hand**

Thanks to Rocky Mountain Tracking those not running with us in the rally are able to track the rally cars live in 15 second intervals on our website.
We test your navigation skills and endurance while showing you some points of New England that you would normally not visit.

You will not know where the check points are or the route you are going to take. You will be given your destination before you leave the check points and it is up to you to decide the route you are going to take to get there. This is where a good navigator/co-driver comes in.
In 2007 an unforgettable time was had by all! Don't miss out in 2008
**(We will be offering two advertising positions at the end of the rally to the two teams that form the best poker hands. We will also be donating 20% of the advertising budget to the Boy's and Girls Clubs. The advertising budget is 1/6 of the entry fees received at $600.00 per team i.e.: $100.00 per team entered.)
