18" billet SS wheels from wheel vintiques. I think I want to put this car back together with a stock feel, but with a few twists. What do you think?https://www.newstalgiawheel.com/images/carshow/wv14.gif

those would look good. I haven't seen too many dudes running those either. all chrome Rally's are defintely cool too.
Do you still have your 68?

Do you still have your 68?Still have the '68. It may make a comeback later this year. I have seen several car with the billet ralleys, but I like these better for the '69.

Mike,
I'm considering the same ones for my Olds (called SSIs). Looking at 18x8 fronts and 18x9.5 rears w/245/45/18 and 305/45/18 rubber. Hard to find cars (Chevy, Buick, Olds etc) running these. Found a few of them. Let me know if you want and I can email to you.

One other thing. American racing is selling these rims too:

they have an 18x10 instead of the max of 18x9.5

-JoePlease do. email to
[email protected]. That is one big reason I want to run them. Very traditional and not many running them. Fairly certain 18x10 will be tough to fit in a stock well.

Yeah I know, that is why I am now looking at the American Racing AR-500. If I if am going spend what Newstalgia wants, I will go with a more elaborate wheel.

I'm finding out that newstalgia may not be your cheapest option anymore.
I like that look though...
