Looks killer!
Any chance of making one for a 69 Camaro?
I was actually thinking about a carbon fiber rear deck-lid spoiler also...
Keep up the good work and keep us posted on progress.

funny you should mention it...LOL

A carbon fiber deck lid for 1st gens is in the works. We have 1 prototype that fits great, but we needed to tweak the mold a little. We are working on a front spoiler/air dam for '69s that we have in foam right now as a pattern. We're trying to get the shape just right. Once we do, I'll post pics. BTW, we could certainly use a '69 Camaro to fit to to compare just to make sure what we make will fit as best as possible from car to car. As we all know, each one is a little different. If anyone is game please let us know. Thanks!
We're also working on a lot of 2nd gen stuf and interior parts.
Good work Deuce!

LOL! I'm game...come and get the car. Will the deck-lid spoiler be in the "stock" shape and form or will you conjure up a meaner, laid-back, more aggressive looking one? Also...what about carbon-fiber door panels, I mean just for my 69 Camaro? We could be onto something here....

How about a more aggressive three-piece rear spoiler for a 69 with the middle piece molded into the deck lid?

TT LS2,

Where do you live? We're in southern California. I would like to work with someone near me. Here's a pictire of the rear spoiler. It is based n the stock one but the riser is cut off so it fits flush on the deck and there are neoprene pads on either end so that it doen't slap into the top of the rear quarter when the trunk lid is shut. The pads also fill any gap between the spoiler and top fender. In order the provide enough meat for the front studs to bit into, we added some cool little treardrop shapes on the the top of the leading edge since we lowered the whole thing.

Rick,

I'm sort of feeling out this market right now and don't want to do anything that's too off the beaten path at this point. I agree there are some oportunities to produce some really cool custom stuff, and we will, but you have to be careful from a business standpoint not to go too far from the core market where only a handfull of people might want a particular look. Remember the custom autorama vettes from the '70s and '80s. Well they crossed the line and now people chuckle when they see them. GM did a nice job styling these cars, so we don't want to cross that line of good taste. Not to say a 3 pc. spoiler wouldn't be cool, because it could be, but for the time being, I'm treading lightly.:)

Mr. Matt,
Unfortunately, I am in Northern Cali...Oakland to be exact...roughly 400 miles away from you. I was looking at you products line on your website...i'm pretty impressed! Look forward to seeing more products...like interior pieces, perhaps a c/f console for a 69 Camaro and other cool stuff like that.

Understood! Even if one piece I'm interested in more downforce, hence a taller or more aggressive spoiler. Your rear spoiler looks awesome.

Well, in my opinion, too much is never enough...LOL!
If you want to lighten a car, then carbon fiber is the way to go. We just got our new "bare" hoods in that only weigh 17lbs., so that's a big savings over the stock steel hood weighing in at 55-60lbs. We will be coming out with a deck lid in a few months too. Some people are asking about door panels and fenders, but I think that's going too far unless you're going for an all out race car with a full frame and cage. You want to have some sheet metal surounding you for safety and structure on a road car.
BTW, how did you mount your 5" guages? From behind? (I just realized how that sounds, doh!) I tried to fit an Autogauge tach in a '67 stock instrument panel and it will only fit from the back side. We have some thin, flexible, self stick cf sheet that isn't on our site yet, but we are selling it for 35 cents a square inch. We actually cut it to fit a '67/'68 center dash where the radio and heater controls go. It worked well for that kind of stuff, but of course is just for the cool factor.

spoiler for the 68 is done , not show quality but it looks good to me > im not a pro at all but carbon is hard to work with . i think it will look cool on the front of my car when done .
