Yeah AJ...imagine that?:willy: These are for those 18" wheels I'm having Jon from DriverzInc build for me.
I haven't figured out what those 315/35-17's I bought last week are going on...but they were cheap.

Thanks Robert,I've already called my wheel guy and I need to really hit it perfectly stuffing those 335's out back but I'll get it done.I'll be measuring closely this wknd.:_paranoid
They'll look badass too...:unibrow:

Hi,

Sorry to hijack but does 335/30-18 fit on 68-72 Chevelles without minitubbing?
If yes it will save me loads of work:thumbsup:

watch and see tiger,lol.:unibrow:

Yes it'll fit but you have to nail the b/s just right. I was planning on running 315/35's but the deal on these 335's was just too good to pass up.
Good thing I haven't had my wheels made yet huh...?

I'll spend most of tomorrow measuring and double-checking...

these are excellent news! I still have to buy both wheels and tires so I'm happy:D
how wide wheels are you going with? 12 or 13?

thanks

Neither. My original plan was to go with 18x11's in back with a 315/35 tire but the Bonspeed's I want are only offered in a 10" wide wheel and to have 11's made would have been almost double.
So,I'll be doing a 18x10 with the 335 tire which I know will be cutting it.

imo thats a bad idea john... 26" wheel on 18s have very little side wall to stretch... not the same as a 15... but i guess we'll have to see.

Yeah,I know AJ...having to re-think that now.
I am really stuck on one certain wheel and to have them widened 1" will run me about $400/wheel so there's an extra $800 I didn't figure on.The other thought is to sell the two rears and go with something like a 315/35 rear but I sure would rather stuff these 335/30's on instead:unibrow:

John looks like you are running into that magic wall at 305mm where wheels cost big money. Atleast it's not on your camaro where you would need mini tubs, shocks, gas tank, offset shackles, etc. Widen the wheels and use the tires. Man it's fun spending other peoples money.:D
