I haven't drawn a picture in about 2 years, but here's the last one I did while in Math class in College.

I had a '66 camino, but sold it to buy my '64 wagon... That picture was my plan for that car.

Click my website below to see some other work of mine. All pictures with lined paper were done in Math and English classes... the side-view was senior year in H.S., and the 3D views were during college.

...wish I still had the time and ambition to draw :(

...I should also mention I drew most of these entirely from memory, and drew them with a basic ink-pen...that's why some of the proportions aren't quite right. ('58 impala is a good example - roof too tall, but couldn't erase it :D )

Is college math that boring now? LOL
I like odd things, so I really dig the 60 four door elcamino!
Nice drawings

Those are cool, Derek. I wish I were more artistically ( is that a word?) inclined.

Math comes pretty easy for me, so paying attention wasn't necessary... and I have the attention span of a 6-year old, unless I'm doing something creative. :willy: The teacher actually came out and accused me of cheating because I didn't pay attention, but managed to get the top scores on the tests

The '60 4dr El Camino is one of my favorite concepts (yet one of my crappiest drawings... and I can't believe I used to like that style wheel :lolhit: ) I'm particularly fond of the '17 Model T boattail racer, the 39 coupe, the '60 camino, the '66 camino, and the '96 caprice wagon.

I used to have aspirations to be an automotive designer, then I came to the startling realization that new cars suck :D If you guys only knew how many sweet cars I'm mentally building at any given time... I gotta find somebody who will pay me to design the hot rods they don't know they want. :unibrow:

I hope I don't offend anyone... :_paranoid My tastes have changed and I just don't care for the "billet" look anymore. I still think they look good on certain cars (some 50s cars really look good with them), but 5 years ago they were my favorite wheel, I almost bought them for my Chevelle.

No worries, it takes more than a wheel choice to offend me.:) I shoulda droped in the smiley or somethin. That is a great drawing by the way.

Great drawings, especially when you consider that they are freehand and from memory!

My lame freebie website with a bazillion pop-ups won't allow linking pictures... here's the link: 39 coupe Junker (http://derek69ss.tripod.com/Car_Art/39_Coupe_Junker/39_coupe_junker.html)

That one was one of the most fun to draw. :willy:

It's good, but there isn't any grass growing up around it! :P

That looks giid Derek. I actually used to do the same kinda stuff in elementary school when I was bored. I'm thinking I should have stuck with it. I also did a lot of home design and architecture. Man, did I get bored in school. Yeah, I was a creative little kid. Now look what happened.....
