Ok call me an A-hole, but they sent me a DVD last year and said if you don't want this repackage it and send it back...but I did not request it in the first place. Instead of throwing it in the trash, I repackaged it and sent it back.

Got the same one I got a year ago today...do I take my time to send it back or just pitch it?

I wish I could do that selling insurance. "You don't know me but I just wrote an auto policy for you...oh, you don't want it, please fill out all of this paper work to cancel and if you don't I will harrass you and send you bills."

I would not bother sending it back. This just happened to me last week. My 4 year old son has a subscription to Trains Magazine. We check the mail together and here this Train DVD. I thought it was free or part of the deal and put it in for him only to read the fine print and realize I have to do this and that. I am not going to feel bad about because that is a poor way to handle business IMO.

Paying for a 1/2/3 year subscription should be enough for them to just send these to us (subscribers) for free. But of course the fine print always reveals that isn't the case. I keep them, act like I never got it and keep going.

If you are talking about the Goodmark guys working on a chevelle doing floorpans and stuff. well if you read the letter thing that came with it you dont have to send it back. but they hope you do so they can possibly send it to someone else.

I think the law is that if you are mailed something you didn't order then it's yours to keep.

I hate junk mail...
