I am selling my 68 Camaro. I am looking to do a new project.
This car is in great shape. I have the original "Bill of Sale", Protecto Plate info, the first few years of license tag registration 67-72. Original manual. There was over $40,000 spent in this restoration, and I have all the receipts to prove it. The only thing you might need to do to make it full Pro-Touring ready is upgrade the suspension as it is stock. The paint was done high quality 6 years ago. It is still in good condition and gets many compliments. I would say it is in driver condition and not "TRAILER QUEEN" condition. The car was originally a factory A/C car, and I just installed a brand new Classic Car air conditioning system that works very well. The engine is the top of the line EDELBROCK PERFORMER RPM engine with the 800cfm carb. 410hp/408lbs right out of the crate, (aluminum heads, HP Cam matched to the heads, polished intake). The engine has about 900 Sunday driven miles and costs 6800.00 shipped. Car has brand new exhaust H-Pipe w/flowmasters, brand new front disc brakes, new PAINLESS wiring throughout, Optima battery, MSD ignition, new radiator, Power Steering.. Original powerglide transmission.
This is an original V-8 car with the 124xxxxxx vin numberReally nice car!
The best thing about the car is the body is original as far as I could tell. There was two small patches behind the rear tires, but a very good job was done when the car was painted, and nothing needs to be done.
The interior is all new except for the seats which are original. They are in absolutely incredible shape. TIC-TOC-TAC, rally sport gauges, and very straight body.
The car has never been to the track or raced. It is probably one of the best running 68's out there.
Contact me at 334-714-5463 for further info. Please serious inquiries only. NO Tire kickers! Thank you for looking.
Car is located in Dothan, AL.
