Here's my favorite so far and I only have a couple. This is the first one after all of the work and a complete look at what the car will be when it is finally done. In this photo there was no engine or interior, I just couldn't wait any longer to see how it was going to look. More to come when it is complete this spring.

Buying a Camaro the same week you buy a new house and not telling your wife to be about it isn't exactly smart. Knowing your more than forgiven for you sin and that she is excited about the new arrival is the best.

This is the day the car arrived. Not the greatest picture and you can't really see much of the car, but it's my favorite.

I think this one is a cool one, much because I like this car. I took it now in September just before the sun went down so the white color of the car would get a warmer tone from the low sun. The car has had the same owner for 30 years, it has been through its stages over time. Now it is fully restored, all original sheetmetal and it has its original interior.
Best of all, it is a true #matching T/A :hail:

Did you use a reflector for the front of the car or a flash?
I think the second is better.

Because it's real. Because it's raced and it still see's the street. Because it has history... because...

The first one is of my mustang I took quite awhile ago with a pos camera. The second one is of my brother doing a burnout (always cool) taken with my new favorite toy, my Pentax K100D. Gotta get the mustang back together so I can go shoot it some more!

My favorite part of my 63 Impala is the long quarter panels and how they look slammed on the ground around the 20's.
Am I allowed to play?
I would say it's a tie between these two..

Reflectory on the front and in the second pic a remote flash in the interior to perk it up a bit.
Probably my best shots. It's a friend's 66 Nova that I did a photo shoot of for AutoAir Colors. They used one of my pics for the cover of their 2008 catalog and in their page in the Eastwood Restoration catalog. :)
Looks damn good, made a lot of locals change their mind about water borne paint.

Thanks, I suspected just that, after my post I saw the illuminated interior.
I have to add this one too, we had it as a centerpiece in the latest Swedish Camaro Club Magazine. Just when I took these it started to rain a little so there is small drops on the car. Even so I think it turned out well.

Thanks Steve. I joined yesterday per Jack Hodson suggestion. I'm not trying to STEAL anything. Besides, I thought we were on the same team. Besides I got nothing better to do since I am laid up and can't work. Might as well try to get features lined up. After all you get a steady paycheck, I don't.

I had a front row seat for the unveil and was asked by Camaro World to send them my shots for thier magazine coverage and made the cover too. :D Not too bad for an architect.... ;)

How about another Mustang shot for the fox body guys! Here's a shot I took of my GT with the new Billet Specialties wheels on it. I did a complete 2004 Mustang 5 LUG 4-wheel disc brake swap and dropped it 1.75". I only had the drag wheels on it for about 2 days then put the bullitts back on. This is my daily driver I put on about 65 miles a day.

Well here are thre that I really like for one reason or another
The C6-57 Truck chassis next to the "FAMOUS ONE".
I have always loved the look of the bottom of Johns NOVA. Something about this pics just does it for me.
And who does not like big wheelies with all 3 stages of Nitrous at about
330ft down track. We did a 1.28 60ft with the rear tires, because the front was obviously to high to trip the beams. I have this wheelie on video if your interested.
Here are 3 of my favorites:
The old gas pumps are cool... but check out that sparkle on the hood:

While this isn't the norm, it's one of my favorites of my car. It's taken while coming up the almost mile-long hill to enter the Laguna Seca racetrack, the car's going around 30-35 mph, the road is narrow and twisty, 7 in the morning at sunrise ... I'm driving and also took the photo.

Great shot! I love that car. I don't want to take away any thunder but I like that building and floor a lot too! I didn't realize how lucky I was to be in a shop that had a floor like that until I moved to a bigger shop that has a regular rough surface. I pole vaulted myself in the stomach with shop broom on the first push!

Well I have been following this thread and there are so many awesome cars on here. Mine is pale in comparison but all I have so here it is. I don't have many pics but this one was taken on the way home from an autocross event at Black Moshannon State Park here in central PA.

That first one makes the car look like it's actually part of the storm
Second one is cool too.
I'm definitely a fan...
The photographer that took these pic's is very talented and knows how to shoot cars well.......That talent is then equally matched in the post photo "Photoshop" session/s to create the effect in the case of the out door pic.
As a self taught Photoshop user, I'd guess the edit was accomplished by copy the image into multiple layers (3 to 6),,,,the background is changed to a black and white base layer, a second layer is most likely a semi translucent layer of the original that has some of the color removed, and a third layer of the car body has then been desaturated to bring the grey's up front in the photo...and on and on....
All in all quite a bit of work but a stunning effect......^5 to the artist/s.

Not too fancy compared to most. First time I ever saw these sites I was just lookin to find out how to get discs on the front and it kinda kept goin since then. I put a Baer Serious Street four wheel disc setup on when I was still convinced I would never run a tire and wheel bigger than a 15". Then a power booster for them, then a uni steer rack setup, Speed Tech upper and lowers, a hotchkiss hollow bar, QA-1s and then a TKO 600, then some TTII's from a PT member. Kids got me a set of the digi-tails for Christmas.......I have no idea where they ever got the idea I would like them but they are pretty kewl once you start checking them out! The rear is a 12 bolt posi with 1" drop leafs . Engine is a n/a 350. Car runs mid 13's and I drive it at some autocross events and take some long trips in it and in the summer drive it all over the place. Lookin to get some mini tubs in next. Been reading all the rear suspension posts and there sure seems to be a lot of really kewl stuff entering the market now! Anyways, thats about it.

Well they seem to be well made, look a lot like the others I have seen. Were easy to install and have a nice finish. Really don't know enough about racing a car to give you a good evaluation of them though. I do know the car handles way better after all the upgrades. Lots more fun driving!

I was looking through my files and thought you guys might like these shots. Wine Country Classic last year (6-07), a good turnout of Trans Am cars, classics, also Can Am cars.
I've included GM, Ford, Mopar, and AMC, something for everyone. Also the Donohue 69 Camaro because it's so cool. As you guys know, it got wrecked later that afternoon..hopefully we'll see her in action again someday.

Mike any idea what size tires and wheels they are running?
The wheels look to be about 2 inches different and the tires are certainly larger in the rear.

Not really Pro Touring, nor did i take it but it is one of my favorite pictures of the old car. I think it used to leave pretty hard.

If you go through my Webshots page you can see how the car changed through the years. A daily driver in 92 to a stock suspension drag car in 96 finally an Outlaw 10.5 in 2000 and sold off in 2007. It's gone now but there was a lot of fun had with it through out those years.
Now we've moved on to better things.

Getting back to Ty re Trans Am cars and tire and wheel sizes. Checked with Chad Raynal who owns the 69 Z/28 "Mid-Del Auto Parts". (Race 64).
"We're required to run no more than a 15" x 8" wheel on our cars. We happen to run 15" x 8" wheels front and back. The tires we're required to run are Goodyear Sports Car Specials, 6.00-15 on the front and 7.00-15 on the rear. The 6.00-15 tire has approx 8" of tread on the ground, where the 7.00-15 tires has approx 9.
Most all of the Historic Trans-Am cars run this same combo. Only the early Mustang notchbacks tend to run anything different. Their rear wheelwells/quarterpanels often require them to run no more than a 7" rear rim and 6.00-15 tire. Thus, they often run 15" x 7" rims front and back, along with 6.00-15 tires all around. "
I'm attaching a picture of Chad at Wine Country 07 also.

Great shots, but if you treat them some in Photoshop and clean up that stuff that grows up from the roof they get cleaner and better.
Try to arrange the scene so that not telephonepoles or trees grow up from the roof. If you can't fix that on scene there is always Photoshop

This is kind of a two in one kind of deal. A buddy of mine loves to play with photoshop and put this together for me.
