Well after months and months of waiting on everyone to get me the parts we need to finish this I have a rolling chassis. The exhaust looks awesome. Specialized coating in Huntington beach did the Coating. It is some special mix. We have a few things left to paint and detail, but we got it togther for a photo shoot for Truckin, Article number 11 I think.

Well I have bigger pics, but no idea how to post, If some one can host them let me know. [email protected]

I believe there is a sneek peak in the back ground of a little nova. Rodger

Man Rodger that looks awsome  I think you should just bolt up a seat and drive it that way, it's a same to cover up such a great looking frame with a body!! Keep the pictures coming. :hail: :hail: :hail:

I was thinking I will leave January 9th but Truckin magazine wants me to take it to LA to do a studio shoot before I install the cab and ruin the frame. I will post some pics of the some of the details like brake line clamps and other odds and ends that get covered up tommorrow. I really pleased with the way things are turning out and really appreciate the kind remarks.

Nightmare? No that one was easy, You should see Johns Nova, That was a tubing nightmare. This one was easy. Really this chassis is pretty simple, this was our first project with the Bender when we got it.

Thanks though. We are really pleased with the results.

Yeah...Kenny all that round red stuff is called a "frame". And the black round things on the sides are called "tires". Just thought I would help you the Ar-kansasans out.

Pretty soon you will be up to style in cars, clothes, and fine footwear. It takes a few years to get to Arkansas.

Just bolt a seat to the frame with a little cage over it, it's a shame there's a body to cover that beautiful frame

I love the finish on the exhaust and the fuel cell... what is it?

ironworks

it is custom ceramic coat that we sprayed on the exhaust fuel tank and gauge cluster. Pictures do not do it justice. Thanks

No we do not spray the coating here, But I was at Specialized Coating in Huntington beach and he told how they could go about mixing the colors. So I told him to combine two certain colors and "We" should have what we want. I then got in the truck and left it up to Kelly. Then I went back to pick it up, and it is freakin awesome color. Bob Ryder from Truckin magazine was there and thinks it is so funny how we came up with this color, Every body was so laid back about it and there were no samples, it just came to be. So I guess by saying "We", I'm saying Kelly and I stumbled onto this color when he mixed up a batch for me and I told him to do about 50/50 of each color. You would not believe how many emails and PM's I have gotten over the exhaust. Does no body notice, tube chassis and LS2 with stack injection?

Sorry dad.

I didn't even see the tube chassis... maybe you should've painted it a brighter color.

It's just that there has only been a couple options when it comes to ceramic coating an exhaust system... until now.

The whole things awesome... you guys should be proud of yourselfves.

All right, I got free minute to get some pics posted so here ya go. I included one of the brake line clamps, They are sure nice. And there is certain nova in the background for you ladies. We still have alot of parts to paint on the engine, and I'm waiting lots of custom machined parts. We have some crazy brake pedals in the work right now, thanks HWYNOVA. Then on January 9th weather permiting, I will be heading to Tracy Weavers shop.

Looks bad ass Rodger, love the exhaust coating. Will the truck body be the same red or are you going with a different color to highlight the chassis color

It's a cool looking chassis, but not much chassis there, i see alot of chassis flex in it.

I have been gone for 5 days at PRI, did it flex and break while I was gone or did you run the chassis through cosmos for me while I was gone? Care tell me what you see that apparently you can see in the pictures that I have missed in person? I'm not building a craftsmen truck or I would have put a roll cage in it. You might want to look at all the bracing and under structure of the chassis. Plus take into consideration the one piece drivetrain that is solidly mounted to the chassis giving it another form of triangulated support.

Thanks for the love though, I'm almost afraid more afraid the truck will rust completely through before I get to finish and drive it. :D :D
