Hello all,
I'm new here but not to the wonderful world of internet car forums. This is a cool website! I really love cars, but I love cars that are modified even more, so here I am.
Have a look at my ongoing Corvette project: http://photobucket.com/albums/v494/MecomRacer/My%201963%20Grand%20Sport%20Tribute/
How do I get my project featured on the homepage with the cool little mini webpage like the others? :unibrow:
WOW... what an incredible car! :hail:
I definitely want pictures of your Vette.
Send them to
[email protected] and I'll get going on that.
Here's the thread on submitting cars/projects:

I tried that already. eBay won't let us sell body parts anymore to fund our projects. :goofy:

That's a DAMN nice project you have going on there. Where did you get the fuel filler from? I wish mine was that far along. :(

Thanks.
The fuel door is made by Goodridge. I forgot where I got it but you can Google it...
Keep plugging away at your project! I used to say the same thing about other people's cars. Now it's not too far away from being started for the first time.

Wow, incredible car!! :hail: :hail:
Can you give any more info on the Goodridge gas cap? I've searched and only found them for motorcycles - is that the same thing or do you have a part number??
Thanks!

The filler neck/funnel is part #FN900 and the locking door is #4250AG. You'll need both.

I know there's a distributor in Indianapolis, IN and one somewhere in California.

Very, very Super-cool project! :hail:  :hail:
There is a very similar project under works at LG Motorsports (www.LGMotorsports.com) . Same year Corvette, C5-R 427, etc. Did you have your chassis down there for any reason?

http://www.cyclecustomizing.com seems to have the cap itself for $140.84, but I didn't see the neck/funnel. I sent them an email to ask if they have it - no response yet.

I’ve got a 69 camaro and I wouldn’t want to cut into my quarter panel, however, that might look kinda cool on the rear where the “SS” goes. Hmmmm?
Can anyone photoshop that idea?

No, that wasn't me. Are there pics of it somewhere on their webpage?

No, it's just a customer car that they are setting up. All that is there is the chassis rolling around on the wheels and the drivetrain. But it looks just like the frame pics you have, I think the shop wheels are even the same. But it also has the C5-R 427. No body parts are there and I had to ask what the chassis was being prepped for. LG is pretty mush the premier LSX and Corvette shop, and it's an exciting place to wander through.
Seeing your chassis and plan and you'd think it was the same car. They also have a real cool LS1, ProCharged and intercooled '66 Nova on 20's and stuff. Another customer car. But that's as a by-stander. I'm sure you could tell me all the differences in the plans.
Keep up your project- looks very exciting.
