Hello:
I am wanting to get an extra set of wheel for the car. Vintage Wheel Works makes a style #48 that I have seen in a number of old photo's from the Trans Am racing Era of the late 60's to early 70's.
Does anyone know where I can get a really good deal on these?
Needed for the rear (2) 17X11 (!7X12 preferred if possible) 18's would be fine as well
Needed for the front (2) 17X7 or 8. I want to run a at tire but without rubbing all the time.
Thanks,
Ty

I just bought a set of 48's from Eli for my 65 Mustang track car. The only deal was a free t shirt. Arrived within a week of ordering.

Call Rusty yourself and see if he has a set of blems in your size.
Honestly... I had a set of, what he considered blems, that I couldnt even see how anyone could call them blems. His blems are otehr manufacturers first line wheels...

Maybe she will read this and figure out she is tired of hers and wants to find a new home for them, so she can finally trade up for something nice.
Just in case,
Mary please PM me and I'll help you dump those blemished old wheels you have. ;)
I look forward to helping you.
Sincerely,
Ty O'Neal

You got a t-shirt too??? I've bought two sets of wheels from VVW and no extra SWAG. Love their wheels, though.
Cheers,

Hey Ty,
I'll PM you when I retire this car from track duty. The so-called "blems" look great to me and are excellent track wheels. However, if you look verrrrrryyyy close, the inner weld is a bit gnarly. It's purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the integrity or strength of the wheel a bit. VWW made me a great deal and I couldn't pass it up. Definitely check with them and see if they have a set available for your car ...
Cheers,
Mary Pozzi
