Hi all. I work for Eckert's Rod and Custom. I've been on the Pro-Touring.com site a lot in the past couple of weeks, so I thought I'd come over here and say hello as well.
We build a lot of G-Machines out here. Probably because we like to build toys to drive, not just to show. Our most recently finished build is the '63 Impala pictured below. It premiered at SEMA, and sits on our recently debuted universal C5/C6 chassis, the Torque 3G. The powerplant is an LS7.

That is a really sweet car, I like how you kept the stock frame look and used a rear transaxle, the weight bias must be pretty good.

what kinda $$ ballpark are the 3g frames in for a 1stgen Camaro?

They're built to order, so the price can vary dramatically depending on what options you go with. Using a junked C6 we can generally build a roller with a stock C6 drivetrain for about 23,000.
