Well here's what weve been working on lately. It's a Mosler 900 s which is a mid engine 2500lbs pound basically street legal race car.Weve installed a alluminum 427 lsx twin turbo twin injected 1800 hp monster in this thing and rigged up a gear and rpm based boost controller for it.We debuted it at the la car show here are some pics.Let me know what you think. Thanks Tom

Tom I think you may have inadvertently built a time machine

Just curious, is there any reason that you choose the Mosler vs a GTM?

i thought this was the worlds fastest street legal car at the moment! 427ci twin turbo 2300hp 2700lbs, it has over 600 street miles on it and ran a 7.09 @194mph on its second shakedown run! it has powered rotating headlamps, power windows, cupholders, two seats and an amazing soundtrack!1:D :D

are those specs calculated, or measured? Specifically the 0-60 time. I ask not be a dick but curious because I considered using a Mendeola sequential box a couple years ago and didn't because they were working on an LSD but didn't have one at the time. I recall that box being rated for something like 1/3 of the power you are putting out (around 650HP). It says special built box, but I dunno if that means gear ratios or fully custom, extra strong internals...

Okay i'm going to be honest here. The car is incredible and it's even over the top.

But really, I am fairly certian that this car could and would scare the living sh!t out of me.

PS - the car looks awesome.

Non calculated times like this mean nothing to me. The 270mph claim and the 0-230 claim is I'm sure not been done. So it's irrelevant and should not be claimed. In fact I don't believe a single claim on that board. Not till it's tested.

How can this car be registered ? Does it meet all the needed emission and safety standards for a brand new car ? I really cant wait to see this on video.. maybe in silverstate ??

I doubt it would meet standard road safety requirements.

I would guess that it needs to be registered like a kit car.

The claims are conservative in my mind. But only time will tell..With the power it makes just getting hooking reasonable it will be a rocketship. The transaxle was built originally for a previous customer of mine it has a 11.5 inch ring gear and was built for the power and top speed claimed.Again only time will tell. But I've built and driven enough to no what it will be close to.

kosher. Is there an intent to put slicks on it and go to a drag strip and try to measure the actual 0-60 time and so forth? Car looks awesome too, forgot to mention that in the original post.

I'm not sure the rim in the back is a 20 inch rim.So Questionable on the slicks But we will test it quarter mile etc..Weve rigged a electronic controller to progresively add boost based on the gear your in and every hundred rpm in that gear,To put as much as we can down the whole time without just killing the tires. Thanks for the compliment I really fell in love with the body lines and stance of this sucker.
