Scott,

I think it would be cool if you did some Lateral G Banners that we can buy. Kinda like the Bad Penny type..print on demand type of thing that way you don't have to invest in a bunch of them up front.

I think that's a cool idea. A car on the banner like Steve's is the way to go.

I like it! Do it soon, and I'll hang it in my garage, displayed proudly in as many progress photos as humanly possible!

Maybe we can do I set up with a banner maker and get what ever car you want on a Lateral G banner. 'Could' be simple as long as we get the specifics on how to summit the art file?

It would be cool if you had banners, then I could use one to guide all the protouring cars into the right spot at the good guys shows.
I think a couple different cars and not all camaros would be the way to go. chevelles, mustangs, cuda's, gto's, etc...

hi scott

i like the banner idea. .....no cars on it ..love most all the cars people here build but someone will always go "you need a such and such car on it" ...
plus you dont want to limit sales....
my opinion go with " www.lateral-g.net (big and bold) the g-machine network under it.... maybe even offer different colors of banner ..with one color print...so some can match thier car ...or garage colors if they so desire...and print on an per order basis....

thanks

But I think the garage banner idea is great and if I had a garageI would definitely be making a purchase.

LMAO....

The homepage header as a banner doesn't look too bad. I need to order one of Steve's Wilwood banners, so I'll as him what is needed (resolution, file type, etc).

Generally speaking, I know that most places that print, including magazines, want the artwork at 300dpi.

How much coin would a guy have to shell out for that?

What if we had a big order from LG members?

I think this is something that I'm going to pursue. I talked to Jon and Jason at DriverzInc, and we have some ideas that we're putting together. I'll probably start a thread within the next few days looking for everyone's input on what sizes, colors, cars, logo style and placement, etc.

Hay Scott I will take a big one to hang in my shop. I have room inbetween my Big BFG banner and my Procharger banner.

I talked to Jon and Jason at DriverzInc, and it looks like they're going to be the source for the banners. I think it will be easiest as they will have the artwork and we can just contact them directly and order the banners as needed. That will work much better then me ordering a bunch and taking orders from people as it allow a quicker turn-around time and keep the costs down, accept credit cards, etc.

The retail pricing for a 2' x 3' Lateral-g Logo banner will be $40 plus shipping (and tax in CA I'm assuming).

I'll get the artwork to Jon and Jason this week and get the ball rolling and I'll make an announcement when they will be ready to take orders. I've also talked to them about doing banners like the Wilwood one with Steve's car on it.

What do you guys think? What would you like to see for sizes? Different banners? Any and all input is welcome.

Would there be an option to order one with your own car on it?

I think that's a cool idea. A car on the banner like Steve's is the way to go.

This would be a great idea, you could even do a rendering or two instead of a real car.

I need more "garage art" in my shop..

I'm sure my guy would cut a killer deal like he did on the Penny banners.. we would just need to get him the file.

XcYZ

Ryan, I think that would be really cool... but... the banners are printed at 300dpi, so the original image would have to be really high resolution and I'd have to edit the image, put it on the banners, re-submit it to DriverzInc, etc.

I think 3' High x 4' wide or bigger would be cool. When you say Logo I think you are reffering to below picture? Not the Forum header. I also like the car idea if that works out.

What ever size and type I am sure many will want them

Tom, yes, that banner, but with the updated logo at the bottom... so it will read "The g-Machine Network".

A 3' x 4' banner will be $80.
