I am looking for someone who makes BBC valvecovers in carbon fiber and all I can find is the stock style low ones and I am looking for someone who can make these or something similar.

these are 1/2" taller than stock; I haven't seen anything taller in CF.

Do you know what the M/C and booster is on the Red Witch and/or Camaro X? It looks OEM but from what type?

Thanks,

The M/C looks like the '01 S10 M/C I'm using...

the master and booster came from DSE. The booster bracket needed modding however, the angle had the master high enough to hit the hood.

Brian

What do you have for valvetrain that you need so much hieght? Our covers fit roller rockers without stud girdles and some head design they will fit Jesel's. Dave has been talking about retooling the molds to fit Jesels but its not a height issue they are just tight to clear the intake sidewall of the cover. I doubt if we will ever make them taller due to the expense of the molds and wanting to have accesrories clearance on streetrods.

Brian is looking for the "Look" is has very little to do with function. your valve covers look amazing as far as quality goes. it would be nice to have a copy of the GM572 cover or like something you would see on a prostock car.
i think i remember K&N used to make some. but if you could even make some the same as the plane Billet Specialities covers i think they would sell.

I am running the jesel valvetrain, but it is not a matter of clearance, It's the "LOOK" that I am going for more than anything. I just need someone with the capabilities to produce the covers in good quality.

K&N used to make these (without the chevrolet script, that's a decal), they are tall covers. Sadly they don't make them anymore.

If you notice the wavieness of the gasket rail on the K&N's you will understand why they quit making them.

yes, and thats why I'm not using them. I will mill a billet flange for them and epoxy those on to get a perfect smooth gasket surface. Like this they will leak for sure.

Hi Brian,

You other option is to send them to Tom @ Hydroillusions and have them do there magic and make them look just like Carbon Fiber.

They have done alot of work for some big name shops and they have all been very satisfied.
