1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. This 21st Century Street Machines Test car. This car was used to develop our C5 corvette suspension front sub frame along with other custom parts. This is a very clean rust free car that we bought as unfinished project of an individual in southern California. This is by no means a show car. It still wares the paint that was in it when it came to us. The paint is in fair condition with some scathes and flaws. This is one of the most solid foundations of 1968 Camaro that we have ever seen at our shop. The car was totally dissembled to the just the body then reassembled with many aftermarket parts and upgrades. Once again I need to reinforce it was not a restoration in the classic sense of the word we only striped and POR 15 the floor pans we did not touch the outside body or roof.

The list of upgrades to this car included

21stCSM C5 corvette front sub frame
21st CSM Stepped racing header Ceramic coated

Custom length Mustang II quick ration rack and pinion
C5 corvette upper and lower control arms
C5 corvette upright with custom steering arms
C5 corvette bearing packs
Universal transmission cross member
Nascar style spilled sway bar
Afco coilovers

This car pulled a straitened .94 Gs during testing. The ride and handing quality is unparallel to any other Camaro that we have ever driven. Once again I must reinforce this is not a show car it is sound car that was built for testing and development therefore we did not speed time fixing the body. The only reason this car is being sold is to finish our new test car a LS7 power 1969 Camaro Coupe with full C5 suspension front and rear.
The car is available for Inspection at 21st century Street Machines fabrication facility in Waxhaw NC just 20 minutes south of down town Charlotte. There is no warranty with car sold as is. This car could easily be a daily driver with a few additions.
Asking price $65,000

I will be handling the sale of this car please do not call the shop for info. I can be contaned via email or phone
