Shrifter is only for automatic transmissions, this other product mentioned is a way to paddle shift for actual manual transmissions.

On Twist Machine - I think it is important to look at the torque converter work they are doing and some joint development to move automatic transmissions as a more viable race/performance option. V8TV had an interview .. and the last few minutes was the interesting part. If I understood correct their working towards being able to program your transmission based on your application down to the track your on. Combine this with engine diagnostics and tuning ....

Paddle shifter for Tremec. :unibrow: :D
Is this the same one from last year that still requires foot activated clutch engagement, or is the clutch now activated by the paddle shifter setup?

Your foot still needs to work the clutch pedal.

I agree. The development that they are doing on the auto tranny is very interesting and I am looking forward to seeing what they come up with. I bet it will be very strong.
