i have a ball signed by 1954 yankees w/ 27 names and i can find 20 on the 54 roster - has all the all stars and the managers name w/ mickey mantle etc.. i am leary of getting it out to get appraised because i have had it for years and it is kind of a nest egg. but i thought i would run it by some of your gear heads that might be into baseball collectibles. i want to know what it might be worth. thanks mike

I have a signed team baseball from the 1947 Boston Red Sox. It includes
signatures from - Ted Williams, Birdie Tebbetts, Johnny Pesky, Dom DiMaggio, and others... I contacted a guy named Dan Imler at http://www.scpauctions.com/
He was able to give me a rough appraisal from some photos I sent him.

well thanks for the info fellas i took it to a guy and he said it is not a game ball and not even a authentic signed bal at that. because it does not have an official league or commisioner stamp on it anywhere. it was a copy ball that you could buy at the game. any truth to this guys it sounds right. if so it is just my luck lol so much for the plans that were intended for its sale
