my car shakes (help)!!!

I had a 383 built for my camaro. We had it balanced and I bought of course a 400 balancer and flywheel. The car shakes pretty bad at off idle. Then smooths out a little at the higher rpm but not much. This is very frustrating. I have had the car in the shop for over 2 months now with out a really working engine. It feels strong and pulls hard but afraid to really try it out.

Is there anything anyone can think of that might help the stop shaking shock.

many aftermarket 400 cranks are internally balanced. The shop should have had your balancer and flywheel to balance the engine. Have you talked to them about the balancing, as if it's internal then you need to swap both pieces? Also, some balance out with one of each in place.

Give the shop a call.
