Did a little work on the taillights last night on the Patriot Dream car. The bezels were in terrible shape and were rusted and pitted. The pictures make it look a lot better than is actually is, but it still came out pretty good. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my powdercoat, so I'm going to block same it to take out some of the small runs and bumps and lay a second coat on it to see if it will fill some of the pits. I'm going to go tomorrow to pick up some stainless hardware for the back of it, too. I changed the lenses from the stockers to a set of LEDs that MuscleRodz hooked me up with.

So it went from this:

Looks pretty good. Is the tail panel going black? Any issues fitting the LED's? I have only had one complaint and I originally thought it was a fitment issue, but come to find out he decided he did not like them because of the non stock appearance.

Mike, I am not sure yet. I'm going to have to do some photoshops and see. The car is gonna be red, so I'm not sure if it will blend of not.

No problems at all fitting the LEDs, they are snug in there and seem to fit perfectly. I love the look of them, they look killer.

How long did it take you to install those? I've got a set just didn't want to down the car for more than an afternoon to install them.

You could do it in 5 minutes. There are like 6 bolts that hold the assembly to the car, then you just take off the 8 bolts that hold the housing together. Then pop out the old lenses, stick the new LED panel in there, and put it all back together.

It is simple!
