This engine was built buy Scott Spicer of spicer motors, Inpecible reputaion for building engines. In fact he is in the process of building the motor for poison dart as we speek. He built it for him self. the motor has 1200 miles on it. Unfortunatley he put a quick paint job on it. My plan was to repaint anyway. I have decided to go LS1. I paid $3500.00. will sell for $3000.00.

hmm Pa I Could Drive Up There To See You...im Guessing Yours Maybe More Practical Haven't Heard Back From The Other Yet 2500 With The Transmission....we May Have A Deal.........im Trusting That The Motor Just Needs Cleaning Up Then Could Be Dropped In I Don't Need A Motor I Have To Go Thru This Will Just Be So I Can Play Till I Get The Funds For The Big One

I agree, but if I painted it Chevy Orange somebody would want it black. I think the price cut pretty much takes care of the paint and then some.

do you know if it has 4 bolt main , assume it dosen;t have roller valve train?

I ask the builder, The 454 is a 2 bolt block. Unless someone wants to build a blower or nitrous motor, track only tpe vehicle. A 2 bolt is plenty strong enough for most.

Ill tell you straight up .. 1200 miles may or may not be true but the engine looks like its a 30 or 40 thousand mile motor someone threw a intake manifold on i just dont see that much dirt and grease from 1200 miles unless it was in a tractor.

thats why your having problem selling it.

at least paint it before you put it up for sale and it would sell much faster.
