I know this has been talked about but I'm a little confused. If I get a LS1 motor with AC, can I use the factor belt set up? I want the AC ,so do I need to notch the frame? or is there another way to make it fit.

I believe you either notch the frame or build a custom mount like Mark Stielow did. ATS was supposed to have or be coming out with this bracket to allow the low a/c without frame mods.

Which car of Marks? The white one is running the LS7, I think it's the same but not sure.

yes, Camaro X, the white one. I believe his mod would work for all the LSX engines.

I called ATS and what they did was creat a whole belt system with the AC on top. It looks like a great system but not in my budget write now. I may just go with out AC for now until I can afford it. I'm just thinking for the price I could just get a new sub frame. If you got any more Idea's lets get togethor. See you at SEMA.

they must have dropped the modded a/c bracket deal then, at one time they were going to offer it. Their front drive is first class.
