I may have asked before, but does anyone here have a source for a bellhousing to bolt to a 455 or any pontiac block so I can run a 6 speed behind it? I have tried Weir products but he is "in casting mode", so no luck. Any other suggestions? The 6 speed is from a 2002 Z-28.
Thanks in advance.

Call McLeod's tech line. Their modular bellhousing should do it.

With the mcleod bell housing do you use a mechanical linkage or the LS1 Camaro hydraulics?

If you swap out the "front intermediate plate" (that's what Tremec calls it) on the T56, you can use a mechanical linkage with the modular bellhousing. The substitute intermediate plate has a provision for a clutch fork pivot. If you don't do the swap, you use the LS1 hydraulic linkage. McLeod manufactures and sells intermediate plates - about $320 through Summit.
