Hello to every one
I have taken my sweet time, to get on here and introduce my self.
I am currently building a 1965 gto convertible using a schwartz chassis, barry grant tri powered 462,a tko600, etc.
I am looking forward to chatting it up on here and giving my knowledge when needed.
My car has been in the members area for along time, I need to have scott update it. The build on there is old news and not up to date at all.

building this car has been a fun filled process to say the least.
Building the motor, doing the tubbing, replacing the trunk floor, quarter panel, shaving the firewall, modding the gauge cluster, the tube chassis, etc
Im supprised no one said anything about my jaguar. LOL
I should put pics up of that thing, thats the next semi lateral-g car
I missed this thread... project looks great! But... we're going to need more pics. :D
Welcome Nice Project you have there!! :D
I'd love to see the JAG i like to see different cars and doubt that anyone will give you a hard time on this forum. Most if not all members are very open minded here

Im glad to here everyone approves of the car. It is taking so long to build it seems like.
Oh I forgot to add that I will be turning 20 this november 15th
Does that make me the youngest here with a tube chassis?

well It all started when I was 15, you see there was this 1965 Honda CB160 motorcycle, just sitting on the ground!!! It was locted at the good guys summer get together here in pleasanton. I felt damn sorry for the bike and took it home, well I fully restored it and traded it in. I traded it on a 2005 Triumph Daytona 650 I had the daytona for about three months and got hit, bad. I borke my leg, twisted my pelvis and cracked a vertabrae. Well at that point I Still hadn't had enough of bikes, so I bought another bike 2 months later and it was the same exact bike. I took it to the strip running a best of a 10.71 @ 129, I rode that thing for a while and put 14,000 miles on it in about year. Well my dad had enough of my crap, with the bike business he looked at me and said "you need to sell that thing, I dont want to see you get killed". He wanted me to get a car and I just recieved a settlement for my accident in august of 2005. The car I bought was a 1965 gto convertible I bought it march 21st,2006 at 3:30 in the after noon and drove that thing home. I drove it for about two weeks, then I called summit and ordered hotchkis performance suspension kit,AGR steering box, moser axles, girdled diff cover, and global west upper A arms. I drove the car until about june 23rd or 24th of 2006 then the motor BLEW. I wasnt really supprised because, I had beat on that motor for awhile. Two weeks before, I bought a 455 block because I wanted to build another motor for this car. Well non the less It took almost 7 months to build that 455 and during that time I decided I wanted to restore the car. Then I decided I wanted a tube chassis and Jeff Schwartz new setup looked great, so I ordered one. Ive got to go so I will finish the story in alittle bit.
